Each week learners will study a different human body system and add pages to their interactive notebook. (Color, cut & glue.)
The second part of class, learners will take turns choosing an animal for the group to draw!
Class experience
Do you want your learner to have a hands-on experience that will help them learn and remember the systems of the human body? Learners will complete printable, interactive pages to help gain a better understanding of human body systems. Pages will involve coloring, cutting, and gluing. These pages will be added to learner notebooks. I have more than 20 years of experience teaching and creating with children in various settings including leading camps, afterschool programs, and other children's programs. Over the last six years, I have taught young learners online and homeschooled my own children. I hold a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and I am passionate about utilizing my knowledge and research skills to educate children about the fascinating world of animals. I have provided private conversational English and science tutoring on Outschool for a few years using a program named Favorite Things. Additionally, I offer anatomy lessons as an alternative to dissection and classes that involve compound microscopes.
Great for visual and kinesthetic learners who love coloring, gluing and drawing.
*This class goes nicely with Animal Anatomy & Drawing Clubs, either before or after human body systems.
Weekly PDF files need to be printed prior to each class.
Supplies for drawing and coloring.

Optional but encouraged: Digital Camera/ magnifier app or compound microscope
