In this class, we'll learn all about bones! It's a great introductory class to help students decide if they want to commit to taking a longer course, and is also a fantastic refresher for students who already have knowledge of the skeletal system, but might be a bit rusty. This class covers all the bones in the body, with the exception of the small bones in the wrists and ankles (which will not be named individually, but learned as a group). This class is taught as an interactive lecture, with tactile exercises that help students learn where the bones are on their own bodies. After completing this course, if you wish to sign up for the "Interactive Anatomy" course (which goes into great depth about bones AND muscles) I will count the cost of THIS crash course toward the full course.
Learning Goals
By the end of this course, students will have learned the names of all the bones in the human body.
