This session is geared for accelerated or advanced placement students, and heavy with lab/scientific sketch opportunities. Class Experience
The course will feature the new flex format, giving families a low stress self paced course. This will be semester 1 of a year long course. The semester contains 14 weeks of instruction. Students can enroll in semester 1, 2, or both (recommended). Mrs. Collins already has an active Anatomy course on Outschool, but this AP Anatomy will focus on more inquiry based gifted education additions and more detailed diagrams-perfect for advanced, AP or honors anatomy students. Mrs. Collins will be covering state and Next Generation standards. In addition, she will be reviewing College Board AP questions and implementing them into the curriculum.

No live meetings, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
We ask that flex class parents check the Outschool wall once a week to make sure the student is uploading work and moving at the pace set by the parents. Please review the class expectations on the first post of the class wall. Parent check ins will be made at various times during the session, please make sure your settings have your messages turned on so parent teacher communication can occur if needed.
Mrs. Collins is a certified science teacher who teaches anatomy for the public school system. She used Holt, Glencoe and GMS Virtual Anatomy as resources to create the course.
