By the end of the class, students will be familiar with the basics and be able to create their own simple projects. This being said, there is so much math, music, and programming to learn from Music Blocks that we encourage graduates to continue to one of the multi-day courses.
MAP instructors are the leaders of Music+Code curriculum and the creators of Music Blocks. You could not get more qualified teachers for this topic.
No homework will be assigned. However, it should be noted that Music Blocks is made freely available to use at home, so you may use it after class to continue your learning.
Music Blocks works best in Chrome Browser. Edge and FireFox browsers are a close second. Safari is not recommended. Music Blocks will not work on Internet Explorer.
Students will present their work at the end of class. This will not be a formal assessment, but participation is expected.
50 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
