This is an interactive class exploring the fundamentals of neuroanatomy (brain lobes and sections, neurons, neurotransmitters, spinal cord) using interactive online 3D brain atlases, brain games, quizzes, Q&A's.

Class experience

1. Understanding the basic anatomy of the brain and its different lobes and sections
2. Understanding the role and functions of neurons 
3. Understanding the basics of the spinal cord and how it connects to the brain
4. Learning how the different parts of the brain and nervous system work together to control the body and mind
5. Gaining an appreciation for the complexity and wonder of the brain and nervous system
6. Developing critical thinking and problem-solving skills through brain games and quizzes
7. Fostering an interest in neuroscience and related fields
1) Neuroscience BSc - Cardiff University (2:1, 2021). Dissertation: the contribution of ghrelin signaling in the impact of feeding patterns in anxiety-like behavior. 
2) Involvement in anxiety research with Cardiff University, namely expanding the research of my dissertation on anxiety (2021-present).
3) Experience as a high school science and maths tutor with mytutor.com 
4) Voluntary work in a psychiatric hospital
5) First and second-hand experience of suffering from an anxiety disorder and the effect of treatments. (2013-2021)
