In this class we will be learning about Greek mythology and ancient Greek and Roman art through interactive choose-your-own-adventure stories! Together, we will find out what happens when the mighty god Zeus and the Titan ruler Cronus battle to reign over the world. We will follow the story of the Greek hero Perseus, pretend we are the Odysseus, and battle the deadly monster, Medusa, who has snakes for hair and a gaze that could turn us to stone! Along the way, we will encounter many...
Ms. Nora has been teaching Mythology to her students for many years. This spring she traveled to Rome, Italy and further studied mythology and art! She has found that using interactive choose your own adventure stories helps children to become engaged in the learning and retain the new information they are learning.
