Description
Class Experience
This class is taught in English.
Students will increase their English vocabulary by learning the Greek and/or Latin origins of many common - and some uncommon - English words.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
The suffix -cide appears in many English words and combines with other roots to create meanings (e.g. pesticide, homicide, suicide, regicide); some students may find these topics disturbing. If you ever have any questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to reach out to me directly.
