Each week I will introduce a new grammar topic or rule. I will engage the students with an informational video and/or visual representation. Students will then practice the rule with an activity. I designed this class in a way to make learning grammar enjoyable and applicable. Classes will run through June. Supply List
Students need paper, pencil, scissors, glue/tape, and coloring materials. There may be other various documents needed to be printed for class that will be posted to the classroom page prior to class.

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.

Hello! My name is Maria Ramirez. I have a masters degree in elementary education from Simmons University. I hold a Massachusetts teaching license for grades 1-6 and a Moderate Disabilities License for PreK - 8. I have been teaching children for over 16 years in charter, public, private, online schools, homeschool, and internationally during the school year and summer. I am passionate in finding fun and engaging ways to teach. I believe in nurturing each student's curiosity and excitement to learn through hands on exploration and discovery. I am a mother to two children ages 7 and 9. We love to spend time vegetable and fruit gardening, taking care of our chickens, painting, going on nature walks, and reading books together.
