It's almost Easter! Are you looking for a class full of Easter activities for your learner to have Easter-themed fun while still learning? Then you've come to the right place! Our celebration will start by reading "Happy Easter, Mouse!" by Laura Numeroff. Then we will share and discuss some of our favorite things about Easter. Next we will complete 3 fun learning activities! First, we will play a game on the flannel board called "Little Chick, Little Chick!". We also will do an eggs-ercise...
This class is taught in English.
Students will utilize many skills during this class! They will use active listening skills and turn taking during story time, group games and discussions. During craft time, students will follow directions and use materials correctly to create their egg. Throughout our learning activities, students will use/practice knowledge of colors, letters, numbers and counting.
Students will need the following materials for class: *egg craft template (will be posted in the classroom - print out prior to class) *q-tips (at least one for each color) *tempera paint - not water color (as many colors as your learner wants) *scissors (if they want to cut their egg out when completed)
40 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
*students will be using paint to create their egg - parental guidance advised when using paints *students may also choose to cut out their egg once it dries - parental guidance advised when using scissors *students will be doing light exercise activities - students should have enough space, water, and should stretch briefly before class. Parental guidance advised during this activity.
