Which doll(s) do you have? What is your doll's name? Who is your favorite AG character? Which historical doll is your favorite? Have you watched any of the movies? What is your doll's favorite outfit? How is your doll's hair usually styled? Do you have accessories for your doll? Have you read any AG books? So many questions, not enough time! If you have an American Girl fan in your life, this is the place to come for lots of fun! Each learner is encouraged to bring their 18 inch doll along with any accessories or clothing they'd like to share with the class. This class is a combination of show-and-tell and group discussion and will be a time where each student gets the opportunity to be involved! (Learners are not required to have an AG branded doll, but it is recommended that they have some knowledge of the AG movies, books, or dolls.) Can't wait to geek out with other fellow doll lovers! See you in class! :)

Teacher expertise and credentials
Well, hello there!
My name is Lily and I live in Ohio with my parents, 6 brothers, and 1 sister! I was home-schooled all the way through, and earned my degree in Elementary Education through an online college. Doing school from home gave me the amazing opportunity to be involved in plenty of hands-on learning and meaningful experiences that has enabled me to be a successful Sunday school teacher, piano teacher, teacher's assistant for a homeschool co-op, long-term substitute, and intervention teacher. It is my firm belief that the best teachers are those who are passionate about what they teach. I believe that children do not learn from our advice, but from our example!
You may be wondering what exactly is it that I love to teach, and the answer is; a little bit of everything! Here are some fun facts about me:
I have played piano for over 16 years.
I LOVE Star Wars.
I am a total book nerd and have read hundreds of books including many from children's literature authors.
I have over 8 years of experience working with literature in a classroom setting.
Now that's enough about me; I want to meet you!
See you in the classroom! :)
