Class Experience

US Grade 6
First time student? Use code PLANEWZ5OH10 until Dec 1, 2025 to save $10 on your first session!

In this class, we will cover any materials needed according to US Common Core standards for sixth grade. Students may learn through games, sites like khan academy, educational videos, slide presentations, the whiteboard mechanism in Zoom, and much more. Classes will always be catered to your student, as we meet them where they are, regardless of the coach.

The first session will include at least one math assessment, unless stated otherwise, to ensure that our coaches have a good understanding of your child's understanding of math. After the student's knowledge of math is established, we will dive right in! We will then fill in any gaps as necessary and follow Common Core guidelines. At times, topics may take multiple classes to learn about depending on your learner's pace and understanding of said topics.

We also offer gamification slides, if requested, with our unique storyline with Professor Yogee and his intergalactic heroes!

Topics may include:
-ratios
-unit rates
-percent
-order of operations
-negative numbers
-algebraic expressions
-one step equations
-inequalities
-area
-volume
-and much more!
