In this ongoing class, students can receive support in math through an immersive experience that includes the gamification of education. Students that need help with specific concepts, homework, and/or full curriculums are all welcome!
Class Experience
US Grade 2
In this class, we will cover any materials needed according to US Common Core standards for second grade. Students may learn through games, sites like khan academy, educational videos, slide presentations, the whiteboard mechanism in Zoom, and much more. Classes will always be catered to your student, as we meet them where they are, regardless of the coach. All of our coaches have experience with teaching and/or tutoring students of many ages and backgrounds.

Students will sometimes need something to write on and something to write with if possible/needed
In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
Classes will utilize Zoom's "share screen" and "remote control" features for students- they will not be able to see URLs or advertisements nor will they be able to click on them. No logins are ever needed, unless parents request for a specific game or site to be used in class that require learners to have their own account. These requests will be discussed with Math Planets admin first to ensure learner safety and privacy.
