My English Boot Camp consists of the following sections: 1) METADATA: I cover the number of questions/time per question/and best practices for taking the test in general. 1) GRAMMAR -- including exceptions like "it's," misplaced modifiers, subject/verb agreement, subject/pronoun agreement, clarifying vague pronouns, and what the SAT/ACT hates (so these answers will never be right). 2) PUNCTUATION: Everything - including when and when not to use commas, the one job of the semi-colon, the two jobs of the colon, dependent clauses and the two ways to punctuate, along with double & single dashes. 3) LOGIC: The digital SAT and ACT Reading really emphasis a student's __ability to think.__ I will cover how to choose the right sentence, how to select the right word for vocabulary in context, how to determine a passage's theme or main concept, how to answer the SAT's ending synthesis questions with the use of digital note-talking. I have best practices techniques for all the above concepts and I will not waste time with material not covered on the tests.
