Have you ever been to a theme park? What did you see, hear, and smell?? Did you get on any fun or scary ride??? In this one-time class, we will complete virtual group activities (ranging from a word search, memory game, bingo!, drawing, and/or jigsaw puzzle) using words and pictures of amusement parks. As we work on the activities, we will also socialize and have conversations about our knowledge or experiences at theme parks. We will finish the lesson by playing online games inspired by fun arcades. The overall learning environment is meant to be positive, fun, and supportive :)
Learning Goals
Students will work on improving vocabulary, spelling, memorization, teamwork, socializing, etc.

Hello there and welcome! My name is Ms. Sarah. 🙋🏻♀️
I have a Bachelor of Arts degree in Design. Also, I have 5+ years of experience working with children (ages 3-11) in both academic and recreational settings. I have worked as an Instructional Aide, After School Instructor, Science Camp Teacher, and Sunday School Teacher Assistant.
My biggest goal, as an educator, is to support children/students in their academic, social-emotional, and character development. No matter what the subject/topic at hand, it is my aim to engage learners in fun and meaningful lessons! Through the use of various teaching methods (visuals, games, body movement, discussions, etc.), I hope that students get to enjoy learning during our time together. 🤗
Some of the subjects that you may see me teach include: art, science, technology, life skills, 1st-2nd grade (math and ELA) supplemental lessons, etc. I am looking forward to planning and delivering helpful and interesting lessons for Outschool learners! 🤓😎
Outside of teaching on Outschool, some hobbies/activities I enjoy in my spare time include: gardening, photography, cooking, playing with my cats, etc.
