Class Experience

Game Description:

Among Us a game of teamwork and deception! Complete tasks together to keep your ship up and running...but beware! there are imposters on board! Out to destroy your ship and crew! put on your sherlock hats and work together to catch the imposters. Remember, everyone is sus...

The aim of these sessions are to allow learners to step into the world of VR (which can often be unpredictable), and enter a safe online space where groups of learners can make friends and learn communication skills, social skills, teamwork skills, and improve on their deductive reasoning and strategy skills.

This class is all inclusive and for everyone. Therefore it is expected that all learners treat everyone with respect, empathy and make sure no one gets left out. Allowing all learners to be free to be their creative selves.

The class will begin on zoom, where the game code will be shared, and once everyone is in the game lobby, students can either leave the meeting or mute and turn cameras off.

Please note that at least 3 learners are required for a session to run. If there are less than 3 then the session will be refunded and cancelled.

Finally, learners are free to enrol and drop as they please. This allows learners to meet and make as many new friends as possible, and different dynamics within a group.

More sections/sessions will be added based on the popularity. So if you are on the waiting list, then worry not!

As always, I look forward to meeting you, and if you have any questions or concerns in the meantime, then please feel free to message! :)

Profile
Teacher expertise and credentials
Through being an avid gamer myself, and teaching music within schools, I have learned how big gaming is with children these days, however have come across a fair share of inappropriate language, behaviour and bulling online many times, therefore I aim to combine both my teaching and gaming skills to create safe gaming spaces for all, where children can learn online gaming etiquette, communication and how to make friends via online gaming.
