Class Experience

Does your student struggle with answering multiplication problems? The world of mathematics is drastically changing as calculators and other technology becomes more readily available to everyone. It is still important that students are learning what multiplication is and what math is happening when you are typing those numbers into a calculator though. This class is taught in English.

Students will learn multiple strategies for solving multi-digit multiplication problems (ex: 24 x 2, 43 x 12, 125 x 10).

Paper and pencil OR whiteboard and marker
Calculator (optional - for checking work)

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.

25 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
