Join me this summer and improve your social and communication skill, all while having fun playing the very popular interactive game: Among Us! In this class you will learn how to use deductive reasoning to discover the imposters among us. This class gives you the opportunity to practice social skills such as taking turns speaking, listening, and and justifying positions with evidence. Game rules will be reviewed on day one. Anyone can learn to play Among us, and this class is a great opportunity to practice. Students get to vote on which maps to play as well as with version of Among us they would like to play (original or hide and seek). Important rules to note: -The student that calls a meeting is the first student to talk. - Students accused of being "sus" or imposter have an opportunity to defend themselves. - Student must give a reason to support an imposter claim.

Hello,
My name is Sarah De Los Santos and I am a third year kindergarten teacher. I am so grateful that I have finally achieved my goal in becoming an educator, and I am especially grateful that I get to teach kindergarten. I have a passion for teaching social-skills, communication, and problem-solving, and this is so essential in Kindergarten. I have also been teaching on Outschool for over 2 years. Outschool allowed me to teach social-skills, communication, and problem-solving in a time was impossible for people to come together in person. I was able to create fun and enjoyable classes that incorporated play and gaming to ease students into a social environment to help them learn or build on their social-skills, communication, and problem-solving skills.
As an educator my ultimate goal is to provide students with necessary skills to succeed in life, and while subjects like math are important, I strive to teach students skills like problem-solving and communication because these are the skills that are needed to live productive lives while in turn help with the core subjects. Therefore in my classes you will find that my focus is on character development that focus on improving life skills such as, problem solving, goal setting, communication, and positive mental attitude through more creative outlets such as bullet journaling, video games and other types of creative outlets. My goal is to reach students on a personal level to get them motivated and empower them to become the best version of themselves.
