This is a one-time class for beginners to experts. Expert players should be understanding that there may be beginners in the session. This session is 30 minutes. We will play rounds as time allows. The game requires a minimum of 4 players and a maximum of 10 players. I will be a player, so we need a minimum of three learners to join the class. Students learn reasoning, observation, and deductive skills. Students learn to provide reasons and proof in a quick manner to help try to prove their point.
Among Us game (Download through Steam for a cost on the computer. Free app on iOS and Android devices). Device to play Among Us on Different device to join this Outschool class on, if possible. I use just my laptop to play, however, I have two monitors.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
50 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
Parents must approve this game prior to downloading. Parents should understand about the game and the situations. Parents are welcome to message me with questions about the game and are encouraged to research to form their own opinions prior to downloading the game. Learners must have the game downloaded and installed before the session begins.
I like to play video games on the computer and gaming consoles. My son got me into Among Us, and we like to play together. I am familiar with the chat through Discord and in-game, so I can monitor as needed.
