PLEASE NOTE August 22nd, the 12:30(Central time) on Thursdays is changing to one hour ahead, so for example to 11:30 am. When signing up, please keep that in mind. Crewmate or Imposter??! Which one will your student be? In this 'murder mystery' game, your child will use their deductive reasoning skills to figure out who is the imposter or crewmate! This, of course, is decided by the game, but your child will play with other students in a private server, ran by the teacher, who will also play to monitor the chat feature and make sure everyone is playing in a positive and fun way! This class is intended for working on social skills, deductive reasoning skills, and having fun in a safe environment!! Students will be encouraged to socialize and chat with other students about their games they played at home, funny moments that happened in games, or anything else related to the game! After a few minutes of introductions, chatting, and choosing our server, gaming will commence! This is a gaming club, a social club, with the intention of building relationships. This is not an instructional class, so please make sure your child has played a few times beforehand. Of course, we will help each other play, but some knowledge of the game is recommended. Class expectations will be discussed at the beginning of each class! Come play with us!

I believe in igniting the fire for the love of learning and meeting children where they are at. I also believe the best way to learn is through play, hands on experiments, and having fun. My favorite things to teach are STEM, Math, facilitating safe gaming classes, and reading classes.
I attended University of Houston at Clear Lake and received my Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education- Young Children with Disabilities and my Master’s degree in Early Childhood Education- Children with Disabilities. I was the owner and founder of The Mind Body Lab, where I taught STEM, Art, and Yoga classes. I am also a private tutor.
I was the Assistant Director of Early Childhood camps for University of Houston at Clear Lake, and for 6 years I designed, developed, and implemented inclusive camps for young children. I have also taught a homeschool science classes at a local nature center, where I prepared lesson plans, wrote lessons that included STEM, and instructed an inclusive class.
I believe every child learns in a different way and the way I teach will reflect that. I plan my classes in a way where all learners needs are met, we do not all learn the same so I offer multiple ways to understand the subject.
I have homeschooled my children for the last 12 years. I am a first degree black belt and love everything martial arts!
My goal is to educate, include, enlighten, ignite, and help children explore this world.
