Class Experience
In this one time class, we will play ASL bingo! This will be a fun way to learn new signs having to do with Valentine's Day! The teacher will show the sign and say the word in spoken English. No prior ASL experience needed for this class! All are welcome! Students will need to access a bingo card before class. The card will be sent to each student 24 hours before class. Students will learn new Valentine's day signs!
I love American Sign Language and I enjoy teaching this beautiful language. I have taken 4 years of formal ASL classes. I have also taught middle school ASL in a traditional classroom setting. I also enjoy signing songs in ASL for different events. This class will be fun and low key, but students will learn many new signs in a short time.
No homework will be assigned.
Students will need to access a bingo card that will be sent at least 24 hours before class.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
No assessment will be made in this class.
40 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
This class is appropriate for all ages!
No other sources will be needed for this class.
