American Sign Language Part 3 - Teens
Class experience
This class will be a continuation of Conversational American Sign Language Part 1. Each week we will learn a set of vocabulary words, use practice sentences to learn how to use those vocabulary words and learn how to sign a story that will include grammar, sentence structure, body language, facial expression and vocabulary while also building on new ASL concepts. Some of the topics we will cover are: indexing and referencing Directionality Pluralizing Possession...
Students will work towards signing while "voice off", meaning without vocalization. This will give a true experience of the language.
Homework Offered
Students must practice 15 minutes each day to concrete the new information. This will help them be prepared for class where we will be using past learned information to learn new information. I will release the lesson in print and in a review video for the student to use in practice.1 - 2 hours per week outside of class
