Welcome! This one-time course is to jump-start your adventure into American Sign Language (ASL). Here is what to expect in this course: Topic: We will be learning our letters, numbers, and how to greet someone in ASL. This course is designed to make learning a new language fun and interactive, and therefore students will get to interact with their fellow peers and start signing right away, no experience or knowledge necessary! Relevant training and expertise: Degree in Deaf Studies (including sign language), classroom experience using ASL alongside academic content.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
