This class is designed for entry level ASL learners with no prior experience. The students will learn how to sign action words followed by doing the actions. We will be moving a lot during this musical, interactive, high energy class. The signs will be explained verbally as well as presented through a visual teacher model. Students will be assisted as needed and will learn through doing as the teacher will ensure the use of proper hand shapes and motions. Students can expect to jump, run, walk, dance, freeze, etc.
Learning Goals
Students will learn basic signs for action and movement words. They will also be up and moving and doing these action words!
