Description

Class Experience

Students will learn by watching my pre-recorded videos and signing along with me. The videos will allow students to re-watch as needed, allowing for excellent retention of their new American Sign Language knowledge.

I will post one video containing the signs for the alphabet, numbers 1-1000+ and a "big, long sentence," as my previous students like to call it! The second video will contain signs for colors, family members, and a few other fun signs. The third shows days of the week, months,...

Students will learn to sign the alphabet, numbers 1-1000+, several short sentences, colors, days of the week, months, signing time and age, family members, and more!

I am offering this course because after taking four ASL courses in College, I am looking for a way to spread the language and educate more people. By knowing the basics of the language, you would be able to communicate using ASL in emergencies or just for fun!

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.

No live meetings, and an estimated 1 - 2 hours per week outside of class.
