Beginner - Advanced Level
We will be going more in-depth with American Sign Language. Designed to the learner's needs! We will be reviewing and what was taught in class and going into more detail about how to sign American Sign Language (ASL). This is a private 1:1 tutoring and we will learn to sign with both voice-on and voice-off and be able to communicate in ASL. Students will learn by interacting virtually to help each other retain and grow their ASL knowledge. The live classes allow for interaction between the student(s) and myself. We will begin the class period with an example/visual of the signs we will learn for the day, then transition to the students doing the signs and slowly forming sentences. We will cover the 5 W's (who, what, when, where, why), sports (soccer, baseball, basketball, etc.), and food (fruits, vegetables, etc.). This Private 1:1 Tutoring will be designed for learner needs!

I have been teaching American Sign Language for over 15 years. I worked in the Deaf community for ten years. I teach a music and movement program in my local area and teach American Sign language at different Preschools and private kindergartens in my local area. My daughter and I use signs to communicate as she is hard of hearing and an Outschool teacher. I aim to make learning fun so that learners want to keep learning.
