We will be covering:
Week 1 / Theme: Basics of American Sign Language (ABCs, Numbers, common signs, and hand shapes)
Week 2 / Theme: Deaf Culture, Facial Expressions, and Glossing
Week 3 / Theme: Introduction to ASL, Conversations, Vocabulary and more!
Week 4 / Theme: Finishing "Week 3" material
Week 5 / Theme: Food and Drinks
Week 6 / Theme: Animals and Colors
Week 7 / Theme: Out and About Signs
Week 8 / Theme: Review

During class time, we will be introducing ourselves in American Sign language, then go over the course material for the day, ask questions about different signs, and then if there is time we will be able to play games like Kahoot! or Hang Man. In this course, it is important to keep your camera on and be attentive in this class. Since this is a class that will be teaching another language, I will ask all students to turn their cameras on and be present.

This is a class that is part of a Multi-Section series, so if you enjoyed this one, come back and take another!
