In this 8-week American Sign Language course, learners will be able to learn the basics of ASL from an instructor who grew up involved in the deaf community and is hard-of-hearing.

Description
Class Experience
As an instructor and hard-of-hearing individual, I wear hearing aids and has used ASL to communicate for the past twenty years of my life. I have grown up in the deaf community in central Florida, learning ASL and using it to communicate with individual within the deaf community.
Computer for class so that it is easier to see signs more clearly. Phone or Tablet to play Kahoot! on (this will be announced prior to class, so learners are prepared)
55 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
