Class Experience
To be able to learn American Sign Language **ABC and Numbers **Opposites and Question sign (learn about 20 -30 Words) **Family and Answer/Manner (Learn about 20- 30 words) **Animals and Colors **Emotion and Action words **Verb Word
I have been teaching American Sign Language for over 15 years. I worked in the Deaf community for ten years. I teach a music and movement program in my local area and American Sign Language at different Preschools and private kindergartens in my local area. We use signs to communicate as my daughter,r who is Hard of Hearin, ando an Outschool teache . My teaching style is to make learning fun and keep learning. No sensitive information that is high- risk topic.
Practice words learned in class. If you practice 5 minutes a day, remembering how to sign will come users.
Parent will receive a copy of words signed in class
Informal Assessment
45 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 1 - 2 hours per week outside of class.
