With over 15 years of experience as an ASL educator, including ten years working directly within the Deaf community, I bring a wealth of expertise to this class. In addition to teaching ASL at various preschools and private kindergartens in my local area, I also lead a music and movement program. I have firsthand experience using signs to communicate with my daughter, who is hard of hearing and also an Outschool teacher.
My teaching philosophy centers around creating a fun and engaging learning environment that fosters a genuine desire to continue learning. It is important to note that this class strictly adheres to a professional code of ethics, and no sensitive information or high-risk topics are covered. Rest assured; our focus is on providing an enjoyable educational experience that inspires a lifelong love for ASL.
