In this one-time class, students will be introduced to up to 25 animal-related signs (time permitting). With each sign, students will learn the proper handshape, movement, location, palm orientation, and facial expressions. For younger students with less fine motor skill development, focus will be on the location and movement of the sign. Students will improve their ability to sign about animals in American Sign Language.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
Please note this class will be cancelled if the minimum number of students is not met.
