Description
Class Experience
I took an ASL class in University and applied my knowledge in my previous career in the social services field. I also have a personal connection to this topic. My youngest daughter is Deaf and a cochlear implant user, so I have been diving deeper into the beauty of the ASL language through continuing education with our Deaf Mentor. I want to bring inclusion and ASL awareness to the World. I am looking forward to sharing my passion for this topic with you.
25 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
Class Preparations & Housekeeping: - Please ensure your child is in a large enough room to move around freely with no hazards on the floor - Please provide a water bottle for your child so that they can stay hydrated - If your child needs help during class feel free to assist them accordingly - Each sibling attending the class must be officially registered for the class. - Your child’s microphone will be muted if there is background noise as it creates poor sound quality for other learners.
