American Inventors and Innovators

In this course, students will learn about famous American inventors and innovators. Students will learn about inventions that changed our world forever as we step back into history and see exactly how everything came to be. 

We will discuss Tesla, Edison, Bell, Carver, Jobs and so many others; this class is to bring awareness as well as spark ⚡️ an interest inside of you to follow in their footsteps....ha..we will even discuss who created Spandex. 

This class has been broken into sessions to ensure that we are able to cover as much as we can; the following is the schedule in which we will follow: 

Day 1:  Early American Inventions, Innovative Colonist, Inventions that Shaped the Nation, and Female Innovators
Day 2: African-American Inventors, Innovations on the Move, Sending a Message, Industrial Revolutionaries
Day 3: Healthy Advances, Cooking up Progress, The Innovation of Comfort, Above and Beyond 
Day 4: Sports, Clothing, Digital Visionaries, Toys, Entertainment, and Young Innovators

This class is designed using a PowerPoint presentation; video and audio clips will also be used depending on the topic at hand. 
This class will be lecture style but, students may ask questions along the way.
