The students will learn all about the Old West version of fast mail delivery—the Pony Express. The class will cover its origin through necessity; the details of the operation, including the route, riders, horses, and customers; and its eventually demise due to the completion of the first transcontinental telegraph. There will be no homework in this class.
Students will not need any materials to complete this class.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
45 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
