Welcome to American History : First Ladies Class Format - Introductions - Ice Breaker - Slideshow/ Teacher Instrutction - Questions from Students - Quiz/ Game to check for understanding. ***This class will use teacher-led instruction, clips and slides to learn details, facts and accomplishments of America's First Ladies. We start with our current First Lady, Dr. Jill Biden. We will then make our way through others, who have made significant contributions to our History. We will discuss Eleanor Roosevelt, Mary Todd Lincoln, Nancy Reagan, Michelle Obama, Dolley Madison and Martha Washington.
Learning Goals
Students will look at the role the First Lady of the United States plays and how she serves as a role model for girls everywhere.
