Class Experience

US Grade 3 - 4
In this on-going, American history class, students will learn every about World History. This class will cover the following: Divine Right, 100 Year War, Thirty Year War, Versailles, French Revolution, American Revolution, South America History, Slave Trade, Independent War, Thirteen Colonies, Founding Fathers, New Country, and so much more. In class, we will discuss the importance and the relative of current events. Students will be expected to share current event at the beginning of class. We will also examine the trends of the past and present day. Students will complete all activities in class and have the opportunity to ask questions. This will also give students the opportunity to engage with other learners like themselves. Students will receive worksheets to help sharpen their knowledge and skills. We will continue to revisit important dates, events, and figures. The goal is to have fun learning History.

 Students will participate in an interactive lesson through Nearpod and Google Slides. After enrolling into the class, I will send printables that will be need for our class. All worksheets will be used within our class, during our class time. Class will end with a fun game of all the things we have learned for the day. 

Week 1-  Great Britain and colonizing in America. The reason for coming to the United States 
Week 2- War between Great Britian and citizen in American for independence. What’s the cause of the war. 
Week 3:  Tax without representation. Why the Britished started taxing the 13 colonies?
Week 4:  Founding Fathers. How did America start?
I will communicate with parents when we are approaching a senstive topic. This will allow parents to know if they want their learners to participate in the lesson. 

All sources will be PowerPoints which is created by myself and weekly printables to help students follow along in the class. 
This class will start a new topic each class, therefore students can come and go as parents see fit. 


No background knowledge is required.
