Does your learner have a favorite American Girl doll? If so, this is the right class to join! In this ongoing book club, we will meet once per week to discuss a new American Girl book. ⭐️ Since this class is ongoing, you may join (or leave) at any time! The classes will not build off of each other, as we are going to be discussing a new American Girl each week. Each week, we will dive into our book and discuss the setting, plot, characters, and other literary elements. I will also ask...
Learners will learn historical facts about the special girls and their time periods in each of the American Girl stories we discuss.
⭐️ Although this is not required, it may be helpful to have read the book prior to class, or have a general idea of the story. If you do not have the hard copy of the book, please don't worry. You can find a summary online or even search for a read-aloud (or audible) version of the story, too!
Each week I will post a worksheet in the Classroom page that will help map out our literary elements. ⭐️ It is super helpful to have the books, but it's not required. All of these books can be found on Amazon! Hard cover, soft cover, & even the audible version.
30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
