What will be taught? In this class, learners will learn about our three different virtual travel destinations: Disneyland, Quebec, and Paris. We will learn about each of our destinations, create a craft related to our destinations, and write in our travel journals. Students will also have a chance to share about their dolls (American girl doll not required, you can bring any doll!) and their favorite thing about traveling. I will teach using interactive powerpoint slides with fun and engaging animated surprises along the way! I encourage discussion, creativity, and fun in each of my classes. This will be an interactive class, and participation is encouraged! We will have structured discussion and time to share as well. I would love to hear from each of my students throughout the class. No prior knowledge about our travel destinations is required, but students will need to have a general knowledge of hand writing and sentence structure for journaling time. Day 1: Travel from the middle of the United States to Disneyland in Anaheim, CA! We will stroll through the park, go on a ride, and craft up a yummy (fake!) snack for our dolls. Day 2: Travel from CA to Quebec Canada! We will learn all about Canada, explore the area, and craft up a Canada-themed hair clip for our dolls Day 3: Travel from Quebec to Paris! We will visit the Eiffel Tower, learn a few French words, and craft up a souvenir for our dolls.

Teacher expertise and credentials
Hi, my name is Teacher Erika! I have a Bachelor's in Psychology, but my true passions are art and design! I love being crafty and creative, and I also love helping people discover their creative sides. I own a small business centering around hand-lettering, and I teach art and design classes along with some fun crafts for all ages. I believe that every child is an artist, whether they know it or not. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my daughters, baking, and traveling.
