Copies of all six of Samantha's original books OR the two Beforever Versions --> Manners and Mischief and Lost and Found. Listening to audio versions of the novels is absolutely fine as well!

For the tin can telephones:  twine, two empty tin cans of equal size (**use a hammer and nail to make a hole in the middle of each can prior to class**), paint or spray paint 

For the paper snowflakes: Paper, scissors

For the ice cream snowballs: 1 quart of vanilla ice cream, 2 cups of shredded coconut, 12 ladyfinger cookies, measuring cups, shallow bowl, ice cream scoop, 2 large spoons, freezer container with lid.

For the play: Supplies will depend on the role, but will be discussed well in advance. 

Samantha's parents pass away prior to the start of the novels, and it is mentioned throughout the story. This will be discussed in an age-appropriate manner only as it pertains to the plot.
