US Grade Kindergarten - 3
In this lesson we will read and watch a few video clips about Courtney Moore the first American Girl doll from the 80s. We will discuss what it was like in the 80s and use a PowerPoint and pictures of 80s and  how things are changing. For example, Countrney's mom is running for mayor. Women in politics was not common in the 80s. We will look at things children did back then, such as arcade games. After this, learners will share their dolls and accessories. This will be a blast from the past. Learners can share any doll they would like. It does not even have to be an AG doll.
