Class Experience

July 21st - Felicities Straw Hat sharp knife or craft knife cutting board ruler straw hat- can find cheap ones on amazon or dollar stores 5 feet of ribbon, 2 inches wide scissors fake flowers and or feathers fabric glue paper towels July 28th- Julies Chinese lanterns 6x3 inch pieces of paper-fun prints are good but plain paper works just as well scissors tape ribbon or string hole punch August 4th- Samanthas Bow for you and your doll For your bow: scissors 1 1/4 yard of stiff ribbon 2-3" side french clip barrette at least 2 1/2" long For Dolls bow: French clip at least 1 1/2 " long 3/4 yard of ribbon 1-2" wide August 11th- Kirstens Handkerchief Doll 6-inch circle of fabric in a skin tone ball of stuffing- cotton balls will do the trick as well, this is for the head of the doll so you don't need much! 1 handkerchief or 15x15 piece of fabric string August 18th- Felicity's Berry ink and quill QUILL: 10-inch long feather such as goose. Feel free to bring extra in case you mess one up :) small knife or scissors cutting board straight pin warm soapy water piece of felt writing paper INK: measuring cups 1 cup ripe berries strainer small jar with lid spoon 1 teaspoon of vinegar 1 teaspoon of salt red or blue food coloring -OPTIONAL August 25th- Josephinas Rebozo- her long shaw Feb 27th Rebozo Loosely woven fabric about 2 1/2 yards long by 2 feet wide Septmeber 1st Addy's Spool Puppet scissors ruler yarn 9 wooden spools beads string pencil or dowel rod markers
1 hour per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
crafts are simple however, some may call for the use of a hot glue gun, scissors, needles, and other crafting tools. If your child is not comfortable with some items please have someone around who can assist or pre-prep items if possible.
