Teacher expertise and credentials
Social studies teacher with a passion for learning. I have taught subjects such as Economics, Government, US History, and AP US History. I have almost two years of teaching under my belt, and I enjoy every minute of it. I love the feeling of knowing that students know the content that I am teaching them. Those ah-ha moments where students are thankful for the knowledge that they acquired through my class. That is the feeling that I am most passionate about.
I characterize my teaching style as warm but firm. What I mean by that is I can relate and be understanding of the learning process for students but know that I will hold you accountable to the work that you do in making sure that it is being completed. Hobbies of mine include cooking, stand up comedy shows, and hip-hop music.
