SAT and ACT Reading and Grammar is easier than you think. I have sucessfully tutored dozens and dozens of students and they all showed tremendous gains in scores. In the hour meeting each week, I will show you how to recognize the grammatical errors you must know as well as the strategies to think about reading on a critical level. We will use released exams and I will show you how to approach the timing, the order to answer in, and anything else I see that will help you. Week One- subject...
Students will weekly see an increase in his or her knowledge and in the scores on passages we work through. You will learn the 18 errors used in grammar, transition words and when to use them. I reading , you will learn inferencing, supporting evidence, and the techniques of active reading in order to never again say "I do not know what I just read".
Homework Offered
You will need the file I send you upon enrollment, as well as pencils, pens and highlighters. It would also be helpful to own your copy of College Board Official Practice Test Book with 8 Practice Tests.1 - 2 hours per week outside of class
