Description
Class Experience
Students will: 1. Increase their knowledge about snakes and their habitats. 2. Learn new vocabulary words 3. Identify parts of a snake 4. Practice drawing skills 5. Practice presentation skills
As a former classroom teacher of 15 years with my master’s degree and National Board Certification, I enjoy the process of learning. I find great joy in seeing students make the connection of concepts being taught. I strive to provide a safe, welcoming and engaging learning environment. I consider myself a life-long learner, who diligently works to keep kids engaged with fun hands-on learning.
1 file available upon enrollmentHandouts will be provided. Drawing paper Construction paper or tissue paper Glue Scissors Pencil Crayons, markers or colored pencils
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
Parents will need to monitor when students use scissors to complete their map.
