Beginner Level
In this course we will cover all 7 species of Sea Turtles. We will go in depth about their range of habitat, diet, defense mechanisms, predator/prey relationships, and much more! This class will be taught via PowerPoint presentation that includes charts, pictures, and videos of Sea Turtles. The course will be lecture based with encouraged discussion, questions will be asked occasionally to engage the learners and give them a chance to socialize with peers. No requirements or prior knowledge is needed.
Learning Goals
Students will gain an in-depth knowledge of 7 species of sea turtles.

Teacher expertise and credentials
Bachelor's Degree in Biology/Biological Sciences from Kennesaw State University
During my undergraduate biology degree with a wildlife focus, I worked hands on with several different kinds of reptiles and amphibians through research with a graduate student, and volunteered with the Bridge Program and taught online Critter Camp (for ages 6-9 yrs old) with The Amphibian Foundation. Since graduating, I began working at an animal clinic as a veterinarian receptionist and technician.
