Class Experience

US Grade 1 - 3
Did you know a hippo can move up to 20 mph?! Or that the gazelle is one of the fastest animals? Come learn about the amazing animals that live in the safari. Students will learn about habitats, diets, family life, and the relationship each animal has with the other animals in the savanna. Students will create interactive notebook pages each class.

This class also features basic geography, scientific vocabulary, an understanding of the savanna biome, investigations into food chains, and the dangerous realities of many animals.

Students should come ready to participate by asking questions, giving their thoughts, marking their maps, and creating their interactive notebook pages. I will do my best to create a positive, engaging classroom environment were students feel confident and comfortable in order to share their thoughts and learn effectively.
