Description

Class Experience

This class will focus on multiplication math tricks. Students will learn new methods for completing multiplication problems. For this class, it will be expected that students have a basic understanding of addition, subtraction, multiplication and division. First, students will be shown the math trick, then they will get practice in order to master the new method. We will apply these concepts to everyday situations so that students can understand the benefit to learning math well.

Students will be able to complete simple math problems quickly and easily without needing to memorize multiplication tables.

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.

Students will be assessed in class by completing equations and using the methods taught.
