I create a welcoming space where kids feel safe to share, ask questions, and be curious. My background teaching kids about animals helps me connect deeply with young learners, and I LOVE their questions! 👩🏫 Learner Interaction This class is highly interactive! Learners will: Use the raise-hand feature to share observations Participate in group discussions about dog bodies and senses Guess fun facts (like how many muscles dogs have in their ears!) Join in an optional Show & Tell session at the end to share a pet, stuffed animal, or fun object from home No prior knowledge needed—just a love of dogs and a curious mind! 🐕🦺 Ready to sniff out some amazing dog facts? Teacher expertise and credentials
I have 5 years of experience as an informal children's educator, leading fun and engaging science programs. Relevant to my dog programs, I went to school to learn about animal behavior, especially dog behavior. I've taken care of dogs in animal shelters, and I've taught kids programs at animal shelters too. These days, when I'm not teaching, I'm a professional dog sitter.
