Class Details: Who Should Attend: - Beginners eager to explore clay artistry - Intermediate artists seeking to expand their skills - Anyone looking for a fun and creative outlet WHAT WILL WE LEARN : Week 1- 05/Aug to 11/Aug Turtle- Let your child's creativity soar as they sculpt their very own turtle masterpiece from clay. This week-long class will teach them essential clay techniques while they create a unique turtle sculpture, learning the basics of form, texture, and assembly. Week 2- 12/aug to 18/Aug Octupus - Dive into the depths of imagination with our octopus sculpting session! Your child will craft an intricate octopus sculpture, exploring the art of shaping and detailing tentacles, all while developing their fine motor skills and artistic expression. Week 3 - 19/Aug to 25/Aug Magical Door - Unlock the magic of sculpting with our mystical door project! Children will design and create their own magical door using clay, diving into the realms of texture, design, and fantasy, fostering creativity and imaginative storytelling. Week 4- 26/Aug to 01/Sep Mushroom - Join us for a whimsical journey into the world of mushrooms! Your child will sculpt a charming mushroom sculpture, learning to shape caps, stems, and intricate details, all while honing their sculpting techniques and artistic vision. Week 5 - 02Sep to 08/Sep Owl - Fly into creativity with our owl sculpture class! Children will sculpt and assemble their very own owl sculpture, mastering the art of shaping bodies, detailing feathers, and bringing their owl to life with clay, sparking their passion for art and sculpture. Materials Required: - Clay -Any Air Drying clay ( if you are using baking clay please read instruction and follow it after the class) - Sculpting tools ( if not then household items can be used) - Apron or old clothes (clay can get messy!) - Rolling tool - Tooth pick (optional) - Ruler

I am a teacher in the United Kingdom with an NVQ3 in CCLD (Children's Care, Learning and Development) and a London Art School Diploma holder. I've worked with preschools, nurseries, and special needs children for the past 13 years, and it's been more than 7 years since I launched my own art club, "Fun at Art Club," which caters to children from nursery to advanced learners and is offered as after-school art classes in several local schools.
My goal is to instil a love of creativity as well as the ability to make mistakes and not let them define us. Don't give up; instead, strive to improve things. If you make a mistake, don't give up; I'll assist you with my knowledge and step-by-step guidance. I will assist them in forming creative ideas and bringing their vision to life, as well as those who appreciate making their work look professional.
