Class Experience

Students will demonstrate through discussion their understanding of the life and writing of Mary Shelley.
I have a master's degree in history and a master's degree in human services counseling through Liberty University.
It is recommended students bring a copy of Frankenstein by Mary Shelley to class. This book is in the public domain and can easily be found online. Students will also need to bring paper and a pencil or pen to class to take notes.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
I will provide an informal assessment of class participation and understanding of content.
55 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
In this class, we will discuss the life of Mary Shelley, including her controversial marriage to Percy Bysshe Shelley, who was married at the time he and Mary met. We will discuss Mary Shelley's science fiction novel, Frankenstein.
