Class Experience

US Grade 1 - 4
Does your learner love science and art? This multi-day camp is a fun way to explore science and create art too! In each class, we will learn about the topic through a shared slideshow on my screen. Then we will create an art project that extends on our class.

Each class will have an engaging discussion using a slide-show to explore each topic. We will then take what we have learned and create a drawing using colored pencils, markers or crayons. This is such a great way for your learner to retain the information that we learned by connecting science and art!

We will also play a Kahoot! game during each class. This is a fun way to test our learning!

Day 1: Exploring the Water Cycle
The art project will use one piece of 8x10 paper that we will fold into 4 sections to create each stage of the water cycle. We will draw easy pictures for each stage and label the stages. We will use colored pencils, markers or crayons.

Day 2: Exploring Clouds
The art project will use one piece of 8x10 paper that we will fold into 4 sections. We will draw 4 types of clouds that we talk about and label each one. We will use colored pencils, markers or crayons.

Day 3: Exploring the Life Cycle of a Butterfly
The art project will use one piece of 8x10 paper and we will draw each stage of the life cycle of the butterfly. These will be easy drawings and we will label each step. We will use colored pencils, markers or crayons.

Day 4: Exploring the Planets
The art project will use 2 pieces of 8x10 paper that we will fold into 4 sections. We will draw and color all 8 planets. Your learner will need a cup to trace the circles. Then we will color and label each planet using colored pencils, crayons or markers.

Day 5: Learning Landforms
The art project will use 2 pieces of 8x10 paper that we will fold into 4 sections. We will draw and color 8 landforms.

These classes are high energy and very engaging! I will encourage interaction and discussion during these classes.

I look forward to meeting your learner!
