Amazing Animals: Trapdoor Spiders

In this one-time zoology class, young learners will learn about the amazing animals: trapdoor spiders. Together we will discuss how the trapdoor spider got its name as well as its characteristics, habitat, and diet.

Class Experience

Students will learn the basics characteristics of trapdoor spiders and their diet.
Students will discover different aspects of how trapdoor spiders hunt. 
Students will participate in group discussions about trapdoor spiders. 
Students will enjoy completing a trapdoor spider coloring sheet and drawing. 
 1 file available upon enrollment
Printable coloring sheet Crayons, markers, colored pencils for the coloring sheet If printing is not an option, learners can simply draw their own spider on paper.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
