Calling all young scientists! Are you afraid of spiders or fascinated by them? Either way, this class is just for you! Join me in this one-time science class to learn about the amazing trapdoor spiders. Through movement and imagination, young scientists will be introduced to the unique characteristics of trapdoor spiders, their habitat, and their diet. Participants will also learn about the unique way these predators hunt. A coloring sheet and drawing activity will also be completed in class. Hello! My name is Kristi Baker and live in North Carolina. I obtained a B.S. in Zoology from North Carolina State University. I am also a TESOL certified ESL teacher. I have been teaching children from preschool to high school for the past twenty years in volunteer programs, co-ops, and my own homeschool. My favorite subject is science. I was a pre-vet major in college. I love all animals, everywhere! I am excited to share my fascination for animals with your child.
